I HAVE GRADUATED!

I graduated Nursing School last week. It was a nice graduation with family and nursing school friends. We have all waited for this day and to make it just a bit better on my way to graduation (I had to go early to practice our walk, etc.) I was called by Human Resources and offered jobs in both the Emergency Department and ICU. I have been working ED for the last two years and have been thinking a lot about where I wanted to go. As a new grad Nurse, I think I will get a stronger foundation as a Critical Care Nurse in ICU. So that's where I am going! I am going to be a Critical Care Nurse!! I would love to transfer someday back to the ED, but for now I have lots more learning to do and am looking forward to doing it in ICU. Now I just have to study, study, study to pass the NCLEX (The national nursing board exam).
