A day of beauty...

Today Jenny got her hair cut in layers! It is so pretty and makes her look like a real pre-teen rather than a little girl. At the same time Nicole got a manicure and picked a pretty pink for her fingernails. The nail stylist also painted on both thumbs a little white flower with green jewel middle and little green dots that look like leaves. The picture doesn't show it real clear, but her nails are super cute. Next week they get to trade and Nicole will het her haircut (although she wants just a trim because she is growing it out to donate it to Locks for Love again) and Jenny will get a manicure. Grandpa Ted is here visiting/helping babysit the girls and we are enjoying him. (I want to post a picture but he won't let us take one!) The girls and I are on Spring Break and LOVE being able to sleep in. Yesterday I went with a co-worker who is graduating Nursing School this May to a Critical Care Nurses conference at La Paloma (a very fancy resort here in Tucson) and had a great time and learned LOTS! It would have been worth the $100 we would have paid to attend, but was given tickets from an instructor/boardmember of the Critical Care Nurses Association that works at my hospital. She gave a few tickets to students and we were fortunate enough to get two. Scott has been sick for it seems forever, but seems to finally be getting over it. Sick enough to miss his last triathalon :( Chica is cowering in the corner because she got into the m&m's again and ate them. She knows she is in trouble. Bad dog.
