Today is Scott's birthday. After church we came home, changed our clothes, slammed down some lunch and hopped in the Toyota to go four-wheeling. It was a beautiful afternoon, although just a bit windy. We wheeled up to Chiva Falls and lots of people were out, especially at Three Feathers (a fun four-wheeling obstacle area up Reddington Pass). As we were getting closer to Chiva we could see that there was a good amount of water flowing down the falls. Apparently there was a conversation between Scott, Jenny, and Nicole earlier in the day that I missed that was carried on right about this time of our trip. This is how the conclusion to the prior conversation went:
Nicole: Dad says we can dump out one or two bottles of water and catch some toad-poles.
Scott: Catch what?
Nicole: Pole-tads...I dunno, what're they called?
Jenny: (Laughing very hard).
Scott: You wanna get some pole-tads at Ware-malt? (what Nicole used to call Wal-Mart when she was little).
Nicole: (Cracking up).
Jenny: (Cracking up).
Scott: You sound like a bunch of Hillbillies...
It was a great day :) After we got back down the hill, we went to one of Scott's favorite Mexican restaurants and then to the sporting goods store. The girls and I bought him a new watch so he can better time his runs and swims, and some new Teva flip flops for the summer. The picture is one that we had someone take of us with my phone.

Does scott have a mohawk? It looks like it, and I love it if he does. Sounds like the perfect birthday. We haven't been four wheeling in so long. I am JEALOUS
