I am FINISHED with Nursing school...for now :)
I took my final last Wednesday and passed with a pretty good score. I am officially finished with Nursing school! I have a 120 hour preceptorship that needs to be completed in 5 weeks. I start tonight. My preceptorship is in ICU and I have heard my nurse is AWESOME, which I am excited about. I will be filling out my AZ RN license application later today. I have the HESI test on Friday that I have to pass with at least an 850. The HESI test is an indicator of how I will do on the NCLEX, which is the RN state board exam. If I do well on the HESI, in theory I will do well on the NCLEX, and vice-versa. My pinning ceremony is December 17 and I take the Kaplan review (for the NCLEX) the first week of January. I will be eliglible to sit for the NCLEX after January 10. Once I pass that I will be an RN!!! Plans are to get back to school next Fall to start on my Bachelors. School is finished...but not finished :)
