End of school POOL PARTY!!!

The girls leave for the summer early next Saturday morning for Grandma Jane and Grandpa Ted's house in Utah. Scott is driving them up there. He is towing the Toyota and is going to paint it while he is there. He has done a lot of work on it in preparation and it is going to be (let's get 80's here) RAD!! We wanted the girls to be able to celebrate school ending and summer coming so we had a pool party for them and their friends. Nicole had 5 friends come and Jenny had 4. That means we had 11 SCREAMING kids in our pool for 4 HOURS! The girls had soooo much fun. We BBQ'd hamburgers and hotdogs, had pasta salad, veggies with ranch dip, chips, juice and water to drink and fruit kabobs for dessert. They played a whipped cream game which was messy and got lots of laughs. (Put a piece of bubble gum in the bottom of a bowl, cover it with whipped cream and using no hands, the first one to get the gum with their mouth, chew it and blow a bubble wins). We had so much sunscreen in the pool at the end of the 4 hours, the water was slightly murky! (But no sunburns that I am aware of). The kids were great, no trauma and very little drama. It was a GREAT DAY!
